If you want a taste of camp without going far away, Risen Lord Lutheran Church together with St Laurence Episcopal Church and Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp counselors, will hold family camp for ALL ages (0-99) Sunday-Thursday, July 14-18, from 5pm-8:30pm. Supper is included as are activities, songs, crafts, stories, worship, all in the gorgeous camp-like environs of St Laurence Episcopal Church in Conifer, just off Hwy 285 on Barkley Rd. Home from an inspiring and transformative Synod Assembly in Albuquerque. Keynote speaker was Father Richard Rohr (SO good!) Congregations and ministries serving refugees and asylum seekers on the border were recognized, as was our global connection to Madagascar, and a newly formed Synod Youth Council. We heard stories of transformation connected to the Synod Strategic Plan, including Excellence in Leadership which will launch in the fall. So grateful to Deacon Mary and Donyce Ness for coming as voting members!

Lenten Soup Supper for Risen Lord and St Laurence is canceled for tonight, April 10. The good news is that if you already had soup in the crock pot, you are set for several nights now. :) We will meet again this Sunday for Palm/Passion Sunday worship, beginning (outside) at 9am.
